Announcing the 2015-2016 Young Patriots Essay Contest Winners!

 

This year’s Young Patriots Essay Contest received a record-breaking number of entries, with more than 960 students from around the country participating. The quality of these essays was incredible!

After much deliberation, our judges have selected three winning submissions to receive $9,000 in scholarship prizes.

Receiving FIRST PLACE is Evan Fitchett, for his essay “The War on Terror vs. The 4th Amendment

 

 

 

silver medal

SECOND PLACE goes to Paige Murrell, for her submission of “Suspicion is Not a Virtue: Mass Surveillance and Global Terrorism

 

 

 

bronze medal

THIRD PLACE was awarded to Danielle Yampolsky, for her entry titled “False Sense of Security
